Cupcake Bouquet

Each year, October is celebrated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We encourage you to join the fight in a tasty way, using items found at your local Dollar Tree store. Bake bite-size cupcakes with your favorite cupcake mix, ice them, and assemble to create a cupcake bouquet. Enjoy them at home, encourage friends, and celebrate with survivors.

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bite-Size Cupcake Mix
  • Ultra Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Strawberry Sugar Wafers
  • Plastic Straws
  • Tissue Paper
  • Floral Foam Block
  • Decorative Basket
  • Sprinkles
  • 2 Bowls

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Bake cupcakes according to package directions. Once cool, unwrap each cupcake and insert a straw into the bottom of each. Place cupcakes in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  2. Place 4-5 strawberry wafers in a plastic bag and crush them into small pieces.
  3. Separate sprinkles and strawberry wafers into two bowls and ensure frosting is at room temperature.
  4. Line a basket with tissue paper and set the green foam block in the center. Place additional tissue paper around the foam.
  5. Dip the top of each cupcake first into the frosting, and then into the sprinkles or wafers to coat.
  6. Push the bottom of each straw into the foam block. Vary the height of the cupcakes to create a bouquet.

Fun Tips:

  • If you do not plan to serve immediately, store in the fridge until you are ready.
