Big Game Squares

Many Big Game party guests will want to watch every moment of the game, while some just attend to enjoy the camaraderie. This DIY football squares game board is a fun way to get all your guests involved in the action. Your guests take their best guess as to the final score of the game, and select squares that coincide to the last digits of that score. It's a breeze to make and will have all your guests cheering for another big play!

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Tri-Fold Presentation Board
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Permanent Marker
  • Letter Stickers
  • Embellishments

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. In the center of a tri-fold presentation board, draw or trace an 11x11" grid using a ruler and a pencil. Once the grid is set, trace over the pencil lines with a permanent marker.
  2. Use letter stickers to label the columns (vertical) and rows (horizontal) with each team's name.
  3. The far left column and the top row will be used for the starting numbers (0-9). All other squares should be assigned to your guests as their "best guess" for the Big Game's final score. You can allow them to choose their own numbers or draw numbers at random. Mark each square with your guests' initials.
  4. A winner is usually determined at the end of the first quarter, second quarter, third quarter, and Final Game score. The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each of the teams' score, matching those numbers up to the grid, and seeing which square intersects those two numbers.
