  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 2/3 Cup Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • Non-Stick Spray
  • Round Cake Pans
  • 2 Mixing Bowls

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400° and gather all ingredients (see image #1).
  2. Spray a 9"-round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking powder.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, mix egg, honey, milk, and vegetable oil until well combined (see image #2).
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan (see image #3) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
