French Toast Kabobs

French toast served with powdered sugar, fresh berries, and sweet maple syrup is a classic breakfast favorite! Mix up the traditional recipe just a bit and serve French Toast Kabobs for breakfast this weekend or save this sweet recipe for your family on Christmas morning. Simply layer berries and bite-sized pieces of French toast in a handheld treat... no need for a knife and fork! Top off your kabobs with a dusting of powdered sugar and a drizzle of syrup.

Note: This recipe makes 4 French Toast Kabobs.

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 2 Slices of French Toast
  • 1 Cup Strawberries, Stems Removed
  • ½ Cup Blueberries (or Raspberries)
  • ½ Cup Pancake Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar
  • 4 Wooden Skewers

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. If you purchase frozen French toast from your local Dollar Tree's frozen foods section, warm the frozen French toast in the microwave for 2 minutes. Slice the toast into 1" bite-sized squares. If you whip up a batch of homemade French toast, follow the same process and slice the toast into pieces.
  2. Remove the stems from the strawberries (see image #1).
  3. Layer and alternate the French toast and berries (see image #2).
  4. Place the kabobs on a serving platter, drizzle with syrup, and sprinkle on powdered sugar (see images #3 & #4). Serve and enjoy!
