3 Indoor Games with Tape

It may be too chilly to play outside, so bring the fun inside! Create hours of entertainment for your kids, with just a roll of tape. Simply stretch masking or painters tape across your floor to create a game of tic-tac-toe, hopscotch, or a track for toy cars. Easy to make, and easy to put away – you and the kids will love these new go-to games.

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 Roll of Masking or Painters Tape
  • Measuring Tape (optional)
  • 10 Paper Plates
  • Beanbag, Wooden Block, or Other Small Solid Object.
  • Toy Cars

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

 Tic-Tac-Toe

  1. Use a measuring tape and a roll of tape to create a 3x3-ft. square on the floor. Then make two sets of parallel lines to form the tic-tac-toe grid.
  2. Tape 5 X’s and 5 O’s on the pack of paper plates. Use these to play!

Hop Scotch

  1. Use a measuring tape and roll of tape to create 1-ft. squares. Stagger and connect these boxes in a series of one and two, to form a hopscotch board.
  2. Tape numbers 1-10, one in each box.
  3. Use the small solid object to toss onto the hopscotch grid. The number it falls on is the number you hop to. Pick up the object and hop back to the beginning!

Race Track

  1. Simply use the roll of tape to construct a series of roads for matchbox cars! Make the track as small or large as you desire!
