Homemade Lasagna


Lasagna is a classic comfort dish that can satisfy a crowd. With layers of noodles, cheese, spices, and pasta sauce, this hearty meal is sure to leave your family full and fueled. Follow this homemade lasagna recipe to feed your family in one meal for just about $5!

Shop at Dollar Tree – Here's What You'll Need:

  • 9 No-Boil Lasagna Noodles
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 18-oz. Jar of Pasta Sauce
  • 3 Teaspoons of Dried Oregano
  • 9x13" Baking Dish
  • Aluminum Foil

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Spread one cup of pasta sauce in the bottom of a 9x13" baking dish.
  3. Layer three lasagna noodles length-wise on top of the sauce (see image #1).
  4. Sprinkle ½ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and ½ cup of parmesan cheese over the noodles (see image #2).
  5. Sprinkle a teaspoon of dried oregano over the cheeses.
  6. Layer three more lasagna noodles length-wise on top of the cheese.
  7. Repeat the sauce, noodles, cheese, spice, and noodle layers two additional times.
  8. Top it with remaining sauce and cheese (see image #3).
  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  10. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  11. Allow the lasagna to cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm and garnish with additional parmesan!
