Shop at Dollar Tree – Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Photo Frame
  • Artificial Flowers
  • Poster Board or Construction Paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks
  • Paint (optional)

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Remove the glass from the photo frame. You won’t need it for this project, but can save it for a later use.
  2. Using the cardboard backing inside of the frame as a guide, trace it onto your poster board or construction paper and cut it out. This will the background for your flower monogram.
  3. Trace a letter related to your first or last name onto the paper lightly to use as a guideline.
  4. Remove the flower heads from their stems and trim the excess plastic. Remain as close to the petals as possible so the flower will lay flat.
  5. Glue the flowers onto your traced letter. Continue until your letter is covered in flowers and all lines are hidden.
  6. Place your paper and the frame backing back into the photo frame and hang from the wall, or lean up against your desk or table for a fun decoration!

Fun Tip:

  • Paint the frames to match your décor. Or, instead of a letter, try popular symbols such as a hashtag or a heart. You can even use seasonal flowers for different times of the year!
