  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Hot Glue Sticks

Easy Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Cut six separate 8-ft. strands of twine. Knot them on one end and secure to a drawer handle, chair, or stationary post.
  2. Braid the strands in pairs of two, into one cord (see image #1).
  3. Once the strands are braided, begin to wrap the twine cord into a circle, securing each wrap with a bead of hot glue (see image #2).
  4. Once the achieved coaster size has been established, cut the braid and secure it with another bead of hot glue (see image #3).
  5. Allow the glue one minute to dry, then repeat the process to create a set of coasters.
  6. Place the twine coasters on your coffee table or kitchen table for both cold and hot beverages.
